KIP WINGER

Kip Winger posted his comments about the songs included on his forthcoming studio album "From the Moon to the Sun". Here at you all the insights:

Every Story Told:
This song was mostly recorded in Istanbul at Cenk Eroglu's studio. I got the idea from a yoga instructor of mine who once made the comment "Even though you cant do everything, you can be everything".
Nothing:
This song was originally "Killing Way" as you can hear on the Xcarnation Cd "Grounded". We changed it early on but kept the other version intact. Also mostly recorded in Istanbul. It's about the Hypocrisy I see all around me. More and more there seems to be less and less to believe in. So much deception in the world but still holding on.
Touch The Ground:
Written and recorded in Nashville. The piano part came to me late one night while working on another song. A captured moment of relationship.
Pages and Pages:
Written and recorded in Nashville. Inspired by all the denied inner voices in all of us And how life can sweep you away until there's nothing left of you.
Ghosts:
For String Quintet, Piano, Harp. Written in Nashville. Recorded in Austin TX. 1st movement of a 3 movement piece for Ballet.
In Your Eyes Another Life:
Another on recorded in Istanbul. About a past life memory of my wife Paula, and how I've searched for her through many lifetimes.
Runaway:
Writing in Santa Fe and New York. It's a song about the life of girl I know and how she's unable to find the love she's looking for.
California:
Ken and I wrote this in Nashville. It's about a friend of his who's found herself on the edge of reality with no way out of her mind.
What We Are:
Written in Nashville. Production tribute to the Beatles. You are what you talk about, we all can make a difference.
One Big Game:
Written in Santa Fe. Life is an illusion to say the least…
Why:
Recorded in Istanbul: forgiveness as something we may never understand, we forgive because it's what heals us.
Reason To Believe:
Recorded in Istanbul. You may know this track from the Xcarnation record. This version has a few different tracks.
