JIMI JAMISON

Jimi Jamison has recently completed a new videoclip for "When Rock Was King" the track written looking back at the rocking 80s when all had "big dreams, big hair, big visions". Joining Jimi on this loving tribute are some of his greatest contemporaries: Don Barnes of .38 Special, Dave Bickler, Survivor's original lead singer, Joe Lynn Turner of Rainbow, Mickey Thomas of Starship, Mike Reno of Loverboy and Jim Peterik. Enjoy the videoclip on Youtube: www.youtube.com/watch?v=X2R0ruyk_9A and on the Frontiers Records myspace page www.myspace/.com/frontiersrecords In the meanwhile the critic reaction on the new record "Crossroads Moment" is just amazing. British magazine Powerplay said "If you're a fan of classic Survivor albums like "When Seconds Count" and "Too Hot To Sleep" you'll love "Crossroads Moment". German magazine Breakout chose the record as "Special tip of the Month" and wrote "Crossroads Moment is without a doubt the ultimate AOR/Melodic Rock record or better the best thing which happened this year". Rock Hard Italy voted the album as "Dynamite" writing: "it is really exciting to hear Jim and Jimi on songs that go straight back to the radio appeal of their former band".

MAGNUS KARLSSON

Swedish axeman Magnus Karlsson has recently posted this letter on his website "I thought it was time for a little update. We have two more shows with Primal Fear next weekend before we start the recording of our new album. "Monsters of Mora" in Sweden and at Sounddock 14 in Switzerland. The tour with Primal fear has been a blast! I can't imagine a better and more fun band to be in. I really enjoyed meeting all great bands and also that I got the chance to meet some of you guys to have a chat and a drink or two. We are almost done with the song writing for the Primal fear album and I will go to Germany to record my stuff in December. The songs came out fantastic and I'm very excited to be a part of this album. Expect a release in May 2009. Check out www.primalfear.de for more updates about the recording.
I will also start writing on Allen/Lande III and hopefully I will have it done in time for a release next year.
Thanks everyone for your kind messages and emails. I read them all and try to answer as often as I can but sometimes there's not time enough. I'm really sorry for that but if I would spend more time on myspace than I already do there wouldn't be any more time for guitar shredding.
Well, I hope you all are enjoying life …and if you don't , just put on Bob Catley's Immortal and everything will feel better!
"

PLACE VENDOME

Producer Dennis Ward is finishing this week the drums recording sessions with his Pink Cream 69's bandmate Kosta Zafiriou for the forthcoming PLACE VENDOME album to be entitled "Streets of Fire". Mix and mastering are scheduled for the first 3 weeks of November. During November Michael Kiske will gather with the other band members in Stuttgart, Germany to shoot a videoclip for the song "My Guardian Angel". This event will mark the Kiske's "visual return" after several years of self-imposed exile.

DANGER DANGER

Following the successful appearance at the Firefest in Notthingham, England last Sunday, DANGER DANGER are now heading back to the studio to finish the recording sessions of the highly anticipated new studio album expected for release in early 2009.
